Galaxy Watch Users Report Perfect 99 Sleep Scores for Days Without Explanation

In an unusual turn of events, Samsung Galaxy Watch users are reporting that their watches have been showing perfect 99 sleep scores with no real explanation. This might sound normal if you’re getting excellent sleep regularly, but the kicker is that they’re seeing this information without any changes in their behaviors. Similar to the Oura Ring and other wearables, the device collects your health data throughout the day and while you’re asleep to provide a sleep score ranging from one to 100.

According to a Reddit thread posted by user dylanchadderton, they say that they’ve owned a Galaxy Watch since 2022, so they’re familiar with their sleep score patterns. Usually their sleep score ranges from the 80s to early 90s, but never a perfect score of 99, as they’ve been seeing suddenly over the course of a few days. They also says they haven’t done anything different to influence the high score.

Other users responded to their post and reported seeing the same sleep score on their end for multiple days without making any changes. This makes us wonder if there was a glitch in the system or if Samsung is updating its software, and this glitch was a result of it.

Samsung didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. Samsung announced this week that it’s working on including more advancements in its wearable technology, such as Left Ventricular Systolic Dysfunction detection, a serious cardiovascular condition that affects up to 50% of heart failure cases.
