Photo \/ NZ Herald<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Armed police responding to an incident in the northern Wellington suburb of Johnsonville have left the area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Police were called to Johnsonville Rd this afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Some officers were armed as a precaution and the public earlier advised to avoid the area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\n         \u201cThere is not believed to be any threat to<br \/>\n         public safety,\u201d police said in an update.\n        <\/p>\n<p class=\"bcxzNmxesLZ\" style=\"display:none\">Further inquiries into the incident were ongoing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\u200c Subscribe to listenAccess to Herald Premium articles require a Premium subscription.
