The date of the first State of Origin clash to be held in New Zealand has been confirmed. <\/p>\n
The Blues and Maroons will face off in Game Two of the series at Auckland’s Eden Park on June 16, 2027. <\/p>\n
It will be the first time the two rivals have played in New Zealand, with the event financially backed through the Government’s Major Events Fund and Auckland Council Events. <\/p>\n
Fans are now able to pre-register for tickets on the NRL website. They officially go on sale in November. <\/p>\n
The event is expected to generate an economic boost of $17.4 million and bring more than 10,000 visiting Australian fans, Tourism and Hospitality Minister Louise Upston. <\/p>\n
