C\u00e9line Dion has shared more about her health challenges ahead of a return to performing.<\/p>\n

C\u00e9line Dion is in full training mode in preparation for her massive Paris residency<\/a>, revealing she\u2019s currently doing 90\u2011minute Pilates workouts three times a week and taking ballet classes to get performance\u2011ready.<\/p>\n

The music icon, 58, opened up about her return to the spotlight, saying she\u2019s embracing every part of being back in public.<\/p>\n

She told Harper\u2019s BAZAAR UK: \u201cIf you don\u2019t want to sign autographs and you don\u2019t want to get yourself pretty and you don\u2019t want to be disturbed because your pasta is going to get cold, you can always stay home. But look at what you have.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Power of Love hitmaker said she believes fans connect with her because she\u2019s willing to be raw, honest and completely open about her life.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m honest, and it\u2019s not always pretty,\u201d she says. \u201cSometimes it\u2019s happy things, sometimes it\u2019s sad, but it\u2019s called life.\u201d<\/p>\n

She says she has focused on what she can control.\u00a0 \u201cInstead of questioning life, can you live life? So I\u2019m living my life, girl. I\u2019m living the life.\u201d<\/p>\n

The My Heart Will Go On singer addressed living with stiff\u2011person syndrome<\/a>, the rare autoimmune condition that at times left her in such intense pain she could no longer walk.<\/p>\n

Quoting Kevin from the festive classic Home Alone, she said: \u201cIt is a progressive condition. I don\u2019t like to say \u2018disease.\u2019 Disease makes you go like this, \u2018Kevin, you\u2019re such a disease.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Her upcoming stint at Paris\u2019 La D\u00e9fense Arena \u2013 with a 6 week stint from September 12, 2026 and more shows in May 2027 \u2013 promises a major comeback moment after her long break from the stage.<\/p>\n

The Think Twice hitmaker will deliver her first live performances since 2022 at the 40,000\u2011capacity venue.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cIt\u2019s been so long, I would like to offer them something to show how I\u2019ve missed them.\u201d<\/p>\n

The singer, who recently returned to the public eye with her documentary I Am: C\u00e9line Dion, explained why she chose to share her health journey so openly.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cThey [her fans] paid for tickets. They bought my records. They gave me that luxury. So the least I can do is tell them that I\u2019m alive.\u201d<\/p>\n

During her years away, C\u00e9line found comfort in nature.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cI love trees so much, and I had this vision of myself trying to disappear through the leaves.\u201d<\/p>\n

C\u00e9line also looked back on her childhood days singing in her family\u2019s piano bar, joking that she was so young she could\u2019ve been \u201carrested\u201d for being there.<\/p>\n

She quipped: \u201cTen years old and I\u2019m in a bar. I could\u2019ve been arrested. But you know what? The police officers joined and sang with us.
