Luckily, he was accompanied by family at some of the events.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s great because they had to sacrifice a lot, too, for this,&#8221; he told <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/matt-damon-says-his-4-kids-had-to-sacrifice-while-he-was-filming-the-odyssey-exclusive-12013695\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer nofollow\">People<\/a> at the Christopher Nolan epic&#8217;s July 7 premiere. \u201cI went away for a while, they came and visited, but it was a lot.
