Director Griff Furst this week claimed that he was asked to participate in an \u201cintervention\u201d to help Panettiere. <\/p>\n
The director worked with the actress on 2025\u2019s A Breed Apart and he kept in touch with Panettiere\u2019s team after she finished filming the movie. <\/p>\n
In a video posted on social media, he explained: \u201cWhen we wrapped, however, I stayed in touch with her team. What eventually got determined was that she might need an intervention and I got asked to participate.<\/p>\n
\u201cI said yes, and that intervention did not happen, at least not that I\u2019m aware of, and I wasn\u2019t leading the charge on that and it wouldn\u2019t have been appropriate for me.<\/p>\n
\u201cA producer or director, no matter how certain you are that an actor or crew member is in a bad situation, you don\u2019t have the proof or the benefit of the time to verify it.<\/p>\n
