Meanwhile, SH8 in the South Island is open again after a serious crash this morning left three people fighting for their lives.<\/p>\n

The road between Tarras and Omarama<\/a> had reopened by 3pm after being closed for several hours after 7.40am crash, NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi said.<\/p>\n
