Henwood taught her that a diagnosis was not \u201cjust for you; it\u2019s for everyone who cares about you, too\u201d, Brown wrote on Instagram yesterday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you, Dai, for your friendship and for preparing me for this without even realising it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brown\u2019s sobering account of her diagnosis<\/a> included her shock at being told she had cancer \u2013 a sentiment echoed by her friends.<\/p>\n

The MP faced her own battle with breast cancer in 2024, undergoing two operations, six months of chemotherapy and 15 radiation treatments before announcing she was cancer-free last year.<\/p>\n
