EASTON, Pa. – For the past decade, Hank the Tank has had a front-row seat to life inside an Easton art gallery. Now, the beloved cat is the subject of the art exhibit.

Nearly every piece of artwork in the gallery’s latest display has one thing in common: Hank.

Connexions Gallery owner Anthony Marraccini hosted a “Whole Lotta Hank” demonstration Saturday, giving visitors a chance to celebrate the cat who has become a familiar face in the community.

Hank can often be found sitting in his orange chair near the front of the gallery.

Hank is not the first feline to call the gallery home. Before him came Fredo, and Marraccini said the idea of having a gallery cat has long been part of the space’s identity.

Visitors and cat enthusiasts from around the area contributed artwork for the exhibit.

One artist knitted an image of Hank onto pillows, while another created photographs of the cat to display on the gallery walls.

For those who have spent time with Hank, his easygoing personality makes him a natural muse.

“He is like one of the chillest cats on earth,” one visitor said. “Even just now, he’s in the front room wearing a bow tie. He has no problem with it. He’s totally happy with his little collar and bow tie.”

The “Whole Lotta Hank” artwork will remain on display through Sept. 27.

Visitors who can’t make it to the exhibit can still count on Hank being at the gallery, ready to greet them.

[31
287738,1628,442,498,499,500,501,39362,156,287739,287737,287736,111,139,69,287740,9016
post-584592","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-arts-and-design","tag-anthony-marraccini","tag-artist","tag-arts","tag-arts-and-design","tag-artsanddesign","tag-artsdesign","tag-design","tag-easton","tag-entertainment","tag-fredo","tag-hank-the-tank","tag-lotta","tag-new-zealand","tag-newzealand","tag-nz","tag-orange-chair","tag-pennsylvania
["GET
