Variety<\/a> reports Well Go USA Entertainment has acquired the U.S. rights to Paradise Lost, the latest film from Colony director Yeon Sang-ho. The story concerns \u201ca mother\u2019s young son\u201d who \u201cmysteriously disappears along with a bus full of children. Years later, he unexpectedly returns \u2014 but has changed in ways she could never have imagined.\u201d<\/p>\n The Blood Countess <\/p>\n Variety<\/a> also has word Strand Releasing has picked up the U.S. rights to The Blood Countess, starring Isabelle Huppert as the vampiric Elizabeth B\u00e1thory. Set \u201cdecades after her mysterious disappearance,\u201d the titular Blood Countess \u201creemerges in modern-day Vienna, where she reunites with her devoted underling, Hermione, to track down a dangerous book with the power to destroy all evil\u2014including all vampires such as themselves. The duo embarks on a scavenger hunt through the city\u2019s magnificent historic sites and conscript the countess\u2019s melancholic nephew\u2014a vegetarian vampire\u2014and his psychotherapist as they expand their search to Bohemia. Meanwhile, a pair of vampirologists and a police inspector remain hot on their trail.\u201d Birgit Minichmayr, Thomas Schubert, Lars Eidinger, and Andr\u00e9 Jung co-star.<\/p>\n Wildwood <\/p>\n According to World of Reel<\/a>, LAIKA\u2019s Wildwood has been rated PG-13 for \u201cstrong fantasy violence\/bloody images, thematic material, suicide related material, brief partial nudity, and language.\u201d<\/p>\n Wonder Woman 3 <\/p>\n During her recent appearance on the Happy Sad Confused<\/a> podcast, Gal Gadot expressed her frustration at DC Studio\u2019s handling of its Snyderverse-to-James Gunn regime change.<\/p>\n No, they told me the opposite. They are there, and they\u2019re there to do what they believe in, and it\u2019s all good.<\/p>\n [World of Reel<\/a>]<\/p>\n A Nightmare on Elm Street\/Untitled Adam Wingard Project <\/p>\n During a recent interview with Dread Central<\/a>, Onslaught director Adam Wingard stated he \u201cdoesn\u2019t know how you would do\u201d A Nightmare on Elm Street without Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger, but has \u201canother project [he\u2019s] been developing that\u2019s in the vein of that.\u201d<\/p>\n When they were announcing that, I did the thought exercise where I was like, what can you do with A Nightmare on Elm Street, especially with a new actor playing Freddy Krueger? And to be honest with you, I couldn\u2019t come up with an answer. Weirdly, I have another project I\u2019ve been developing that\u2019s in the vein of that, so, I don\u2019t know.<\/p>\n If somebody showed me a script or gave me a concept, I would look at it, because I love those movies and I\u2019d be intrigued. But, to be honest with you, I don\u2019t know how you would do that. It doesn\u2019t feel like you could be as funny as Freddy Krueger was. I feel like nobody would be daring enough to let you do that. And they already tried to make him scary with the really depressing 2010 one.
