\n\tDanny Booko and Nia Sanchez Booko are leaving \u201cThe Valley<\/a>\u201d after three seasons with the Bravo reality show.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe wanted to share a quick update that we will not be returning to \u2018The Valley,\u2019\u201d the couple wrote in a joint statement<\/a> posted to Instagram. \u201cWe\u2019re incredibly grateful for this experience, but our priority is protecting our peace and our family.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason 4 of \u201cThe Valley\u201d will begin filming soon, and it wasn\u2019t clear whether the Bookos would continue with the show. Season 3 made Danny\u2019s drinking habits central to the storyline. On-screen conflict among the cast about Danny\u2019s behavior continued throughout the show\u2019s third season, splitting the group and casting a pall over \u201cThe Valley.\u201d During Season 3, Nia referred to their fellow castmates as \u201cterrible people\u201d whom they shouldn\u2019t be friends with, and now it seems she will get her wish.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the statement, they added: \u201cWe are fully committed to each other and our beautiful children. We want to thank everyone for all the love and support you\u2019ve shown us. Thank you to Bravo and the team for everything. We are looking forward to what the next chapter brings.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen \u201cThe Valley\u201d first premiered in 2024, the Bookos, who were new to Bravo viewers, were among its most popular cast members. The church-going couple \u2014 he\u2019s a voice actor, and she, a former Miss USA, is a pageant coach \u2014\u00a0had, at the time, three young children (they\u2019ve since had another daughter, born in June 2025). But beginning in Season 2 of \u201cThe Valley,\u201d Danny\u2019s drinking \u2014 specifically how his personality changes and whether he turns into \u201cDarkside Danny\u201d when overserved \u2014 became major plot points. An inciting incident happened off-camera between the first and second seasons between Danny and his \u201cValley\u201d castmate Jasmine Goode and her then-girlfriend (now wife) Melissa Carelli. At a party, Danny touched Jasmine\u2019s thigh, and said, \u201cGet daddy a drink,\u201d after which he then grabbed Melissa\u2019s ass. (Danny apologized on camera to Jasmine for \u201cinappropriate behavior.\u201d)<\/p>\n

\n\tThis incident continued to come up all season, dividing the group and inflaming the relationship between the Bookos and married couple Janet and Jason Caperna. Toward the end of Season 2, Janet labeled what Danny had done \u201csexual assault,\u201d and several cast members \u2014\u00a0including Kristen Doute, Janet\u2019s former close friend \u2014\u00a0lashed out at her. Many in the Bravo fandom also turned on Janet, and she received death threats.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn Season 3, Danny, by his own admission, was drunk on camera across multiple episodes \u2014\u00a0during a cast trip to San Diego, while on another trip to Mexico and in the finale at a party. He also would try to hide his drinking, which made things even worse. Lala Kent, who joined \u201cThe Valley\u201d in the third season after being a veteran cast member of \u201cVanderpump Rules,\u201d is sober and had several heated confrontations with Danny about his behavior while drinking, as Nia appeared to watch and worry about what he might do or say. In San Diego, Lala intervened when Danny was berating Nia as they prepared for a fake beauty pageant competition among the men, which further incited Danny, who angrily named Lala \u201cMiss Triggered.\u201d Later, during the Mexico trip, Nia physically placed herself between Lala and Danny, appearing to try to block her from getting too close. \u201cDrink all you want, just don\u2019t be weird,\u201d Janet said about Danny while in Mexico.<\/p>\n

\n\tThings came to a boiling point in the finale at a Halloween party thrown by Brittany Cartwright at her house. Janet threw a drink and her Solo cup at Danny, who then said, \u201cThey just threw drinks in my face,\u201d and left the party. The show\u2019s three-part reunion episodes resolved nothing, but Danny did reveal he has been in therapy for his drinking, but, for some reason, seemingly won\u2019t consider stopping. His therapy hadn\u2019t prevented him from drinking at Jasmine and Melissa\u2019s wedding the week before the reunion was taped, which resulted in behavior the cast alluded to obliquely during the reunion\u2019s third episode without making it clear what actually happened.<\/p>\n

\n\tMore revealingly, in the series\u2019 \u201cAfter Show\u201d that streams on Peacock, Janet said, \u201cI could sit here and lie, and say I shouldn\u2019t have done that and whatever \u2014\u00a0I regret that I wasn\u2019t drinking red wine.\u201d When Danny was asked whether he could ever reconcile with Janet, he said: \u201cIt would have to start with a grovel \u2014 a genuine apology, of actually realizing and seeing and begging profusely to even get anything going.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAs the \u201cAfter Show\u201d discussion among the cast members continued, the possibility of getting through this impasse between the Capernas and the Bookos \u2014\u00a0specifically between Janet and Danny \u2014\u00a0seemed more and more impossible. Janet said, \u201cMy patience and tolerance for this man has disappeared.\u201d Kristen\u2019s fiance Luke Broderick, who\u2019s close with the Bookos, said: \u201cI\u2019m all out of fucks to give. I know Kristen is \u2014\u00a0I think you probably are too. Why would we include them in something when we want Danny and Nia there? And why would we want them somewhere over Danny and Nia? None of that stuff\u2019s ever gonna happen. They put themselves on an island, and they can live there, if that\u2019s where they want to be.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAs it turns out, Santa Clarita \u2014 the faraway Los Angeles suburb where the Bookos moved after Season 2, with Nia as a reluctant new resident, and Danny an enthusiastic one \u2014 is the island from which they will not return.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Bookos are the second (and third) high-profile exit from \u201cThe Valley\u201d after Jax Taylor left the show in summer 2025<\/a>. Taylor stepped away from \u201cThe Valley\u201d after revealing addiction problems and having violent off-camera outbursts.<\/p>\n
