The official website for the television anime<\/a> of Ry\u014d Ariyama<\/a>‘s Romelia War Chronicle: Even After Defeating the Demon King, Humanity Still Seems Doomed, So I Formed a Military Force<\/a> (Romelia Senki: Ma\u014d o Taoshita Ato mo Jinrui Yabas\u014d Dakara Guntai Soshiki Shita<\/a>) light novel series revealed 14 more cast members on Friday.<\/p>\n

The anime will debut<\/a> in October on Tokyo MX<\/a>, BS11<\/a>, Sun TV<\/a>, and KBS Kyoto<\/a>, and will run for two cours<\/a> (quarters of a year). Crunchyroll<\/a> will stream<\/a> the anime as it airs.<\/p>\n

This year’s Otakon<\/a> event screened the world premiere on July 31.<\/p>\n

Ariyama launched the light novel series as a web novel on the Sh\u014dsetsuka ni Nar\u014d website in 2019, before being published under Shogakukan<\/a>‘s Gagaga Bunko imprint. The series currently has over 550,000 copies in circulation, and ended<\/a> in its sixth volume in November 2025. Kodama<\/a> illustrated the first novel volume and Ry\u014d Kamito<\/a> illustrated volumes 2-6.<\/p>\n

The manga series adaptation with art by Ry\u014d Kamito launched on Mag Garden<\/a>‘s Mag Comi<\/a> platform in January 2022.<\/p>\n

Seven Seas<\/a> licensed<\/a> the novels’ manga adaptation, and it describes the story:\n<\/p>\n

After journeying alongside her fianc\u00e9 on his quest to defeat the Demon King, Romelia is suddenly deemed useless and sent home, her engagement annulled. While the prince and his group return as celebrated heroes, Rome goes home as a disgrace. But she’s not the same girl who left her province. While following the adventurers, Rome was the only one without magic or strength but she found her own abilities in trade, negotiation, finances, and gathering information. And now, she plans to use these skills to not only help her family’s province, but help the still struggling kingdom. The Demon King may be defeated, but his allies and demons continue to roam.<\/p>\n

With only her wits and brilliance, Rome will build an army of her own and keep the kingdom safe\u2014no matter what it takes.\n<\/p>\n

Seven Seas released the third volume on August 11.<\/p>\n
