Kostecki qualified fifth in the preceding session with a 1:16.4106s and improved his personal-best with a 1:16.3756s in the shootout.<\/p>\n
The driver of the Dick Johnson Racing Ford Mustang was the only one to improve session-on-session.<\/p>\n
Kostecki and Hazelwood will start alongside Matt Payne and Will Davison in the Grove Racing Ford Mustang.<\/p>\n

Ford locked out the first two rows with Tickford Racing teammates Cameron Waters (with Mark Winterbottom) and Thomas Randle (with Reuben Goodall) third and fourth respectively.<\/p>\n
Provisional pole sitter Anton De Pasquale was only fifth fastest, lamenting a lack of grip.<\/p>\n
The Top 10 Shootout was completed by Kai Allen, Broc Feeney, Zach Bates, Jobe Stewart and Jayden Ojeda.<\/p>\n
The Bend 500 gets underway at 1:45pm ACST on Sunday.<\/p>\n
