Like his halves partner was solid in the first half but must take ownership for the fact the Warriors ultimately lost their way despite their forwards giving them more than enough momentum.

8. JAMES FISHER-HARRIS — 8.5

Absolutely inspirational with and without the ball. Could not have done more to try and get his team home. A great captain’s knock finishing with 20 runs for 152m and 35 tackles.

9. WAYDE EGAN — 7

Helped keep his team on the front foot but no real standout moments like we’ve come to expect. Although the game did change when Egan left the field for the final quarter.

10. MITCHELL BARNETT — 8

Was enormous in a beaten team. Knocked Flegler out of the game with a barnstorming charge from an early kick off and didn’t take a backward step. Finished with 16 runs for 140m and 25 tackles.

11. KURT CAPEWELL — 6

Undid his good early work when sin binned for charging in to incite a melee after Isaiya Katoa was put on report for a lifting tackle on Jackson Ford. Only had eight runs for 45m and five missed tackles.

12. JACOB LABAN — 5.5

Not his best game but in fairness was playing on one leg. Just didn’t look comfortable and struggled defensively. Had 10 runs for 70m and 36 tackles — but the seven missed tackles is what stood out on the stat sheet in the end.

13. ERIN CLARK — 6.5

Started well but didn’t have the impact we’ve come to expect. 11 runs for 93m and 26 tackles.

14. SAM HEALEY — 3

Brought into the game for the final 20 minutes but unfortunately that was the period the Dolphins took charge. Just the one run for 15m.

15. TANNER STOWERS SMITH — 4.5

Five runs for 41m and 14 tackles.

16. DEMETRIC VAIMAUGA — 6

Had eight runs for 92, and 15 tackles. Have to laugh how he sticks his tongue out and smiles as he charges into the defensive line.

17. JACKSON FORD — 7

Was outstanding off the bench. Unfortunately succumbed to an ankle injury early in the second half and did not return.

18. EDDIE IEREMIA-TOEAVA — N/A

Didn’t take the field.
