It included an aggravated robbery in Belmont on September 13.

“Unfortunately, this offending has involved the same victim and offender as the initial incident in August, for which an arrest had already been made.

“That offender, a 14-year-old female, has since been remanded in custody and is facing a charge of aggravated robbery with further charges pending,” McKeown said.

This week, a second 14-year-old girl was also charged.

Police were continuing to make inquiries into the offending in Belmont last week.

McKeown said inquiries were ongoing to locate the second person allegedly involved in that incident, and officers had recovered and returned the victim’s watch that was allegedly stolen.

“Police acknowledge the significant concern these incidents have caused the victims, their families, and the wider community.

“We have no tolerance for these acts of violence, and it is understandably distressing for the victim to have encountered one of the alleged offenders on two occasions.”

McKeown said Operation Jacaranda remained ongoing and police were continuing to speak with those involved.

“Police have maintained regular contact with the victims and their families as we worked to hold the offenders accountable.”

It included an aggravated robbery in Belmont on September 13. “Unfortunately, this offending has involved the same victim…

[2
55413,74,9092,1554,3952,1558,13239,1873,3011,13838,209,305,29819,15167,4486,111,43,139,529,69,28703,1523,4517,384,38538,18484,5163,6123,4741,1079,678
post-603010","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-new-zealand","tag-14yearold","tag-after","tag-against","tag-alleged","tag-aucklands","tag-been","tag-charged","tag-charges","tag-four","tag-girls","tag-group","tag-have","tag-involving","tag-laid","tag-month","tag-new-zealand","tag-news","tag-newzealand","tag-north","tag-nz","tag-offending","tag-over","tag-past","tag-people","tag-referred","tag-shore","tag-teen","tag-while","tag-young","tag-youth","tag-youths
["GET
