was not widely anticipated, and it now appears Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, warned her daughter to ‘think very carefully’ about relocating.

“Doria told Meghan to think very carefully before moving back,” a family source told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice outlet.

“She watched what Britain did to her daughter the first time. She saw the pressure, the criticism and the toll it took. She’s terrified history will repeat itself.”

Doria, 70, is said to be very close with Meghan, 45, and a regular visitor at Montecito to see Archie, now aged seven, and Lilibet, five.

While the couple have told insiders they are ‘happy to be back’, their move has not been completely smooth sailing. They were embroiled in a briefing row with King Charles III, after a letter he authorised said they should be considered ‘private citizens’ when conducting charitable engagements.

Harry and Meghan reportedly prefer the term ‘public figures’. The couple have also had to change their children’s school, after the family’s security team deemed the countryside school run was too difficult to keep safe.

They were also accused of ‘hypocrisy’ after Meghan shared a video of the family back in Britain. In a montage of phone-captured footage, the family are seen in the countryside out with their dog, and Harry on a boat in a pond fishing with the kids.

It opens with Meghan and husband Harry hand in hand, with the Duchess turning towards the camera and playfully shouting ‘come on, you’.

One touching clip appears to show Lilibet cycling with a doll in the baby bike seat as Archie runs past her, and it appears one of the youngsters is warming their feet by the fireplace in another. An Union Flag emoji and a heart emoji is overlaid over the selection of clips.

But posting the video has been labelled as “hypocrisy” by one Royal commentator, Kinsey Schofield: “If privacy is genuinely the priority, the most effective strategy is simple… stop broadcasting your family life to millions of strangers.”

Meghan Markle’s mum reportedly gave her daughter a three-word warning before the Duchess moved back to the UK…

[8
297906,156,4866,111,139,69,297907,277917
post-604172","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-entertainment","tag-doria-ragland","tag-entertainment","tag-meghan-markle","tag-new-zealand","tag-newzealand","tag-nz","tag-privacy-controversy","tag-uk-return
["GET
