A stage presentation at the KyoMAF event on Saturday revealed the main promotional video for the television anime<\/a> of Kyousuke Motomi<\/a>‘s Dengeki Daisy<\/a> sh\u014djo<\/a> manga. The video reveals the anime will debut in January 2027 and will air for two consecutive cours<\/a> (quarter of a year).<\/p>\n

The anime stars Yoshino Aoyama<\/a> as Teru Kurebayashi and Taku Yashiro<\/a> as Tasuku Kurosaki.<\/p>\n

Crunchyroll<\/a> will stream<\/a> the anime.<\/p>\n

S\u014dta Ueno<\/a> (Days With My Stepsister<\/a>, SHIBOYUGI: Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table<\/a>) is directing the anime at Studio DEEN<\/a>. Sawako Hirabayashi<\/a> (Wolf Girl & Black Prince<\/a>, Delicious Party\u2661Precure<\/a>, I\u2019ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History<\/a>) is in charge of the series scripts. Ayaka Murakami<\/a> (Days With My Stepsister) is designing the characters, and Masaru Yokoyama<\/a> composing the music. <\/p>\n

Viz Media<\/a>‘s Shojo Beat<\/a> imprint published the manga in English and describes the story:<\/p>\n

\tAfter orphan Teru Kurebayashi loses her beloved older brother, she finds solace in the messages she exchanges with DAISY, an enigmatic figure who can only be reached through the cell phone her brother left her. Meanwhile, mysterious Tasuku Kurosaki always seems to be around whenever Teru needs help\u2026 Could DAISY be a lot closer than Teru thinks?<\/p>\n

Motomi (Queen’s Quality<\/a>, QQ Sweeper<\/a>, Beast Master<\/a>) launched the manga in Shogakukan<\/a>‘s Monthly Betsucomi<\/a> magazine in 2007, and ended<\/a> it in 2013. Shogakukan published the manga’s 16th and final compiled book volume in February 2014.<\/p>\n
