The official website for the second<\/a> light anime<\/a> season based on SORAJIMA<\/a> and Aminohada<\/a>‘s With Vengeance, Sincerely, Your Broken Saintess<\/a> (Kizu Darake Seijo Yori H\u014dfuku wo Komete<\/a>) vertical-scrolling webtoon started streaming the anime’s third teaser promotional video on Saturday. The video reveals and previews Juice=Juice<\/a>‘s theme song “Kareinaru Revenger” (The Great Revenger). <\/p>\n

The anime will premiere on October 1 on the TV Kanagawa<\/a> (tvk) channel at 24:00 JST (effectively October 2 at 12 midnight), and will then run on CBC TV<\/a> from October 2 at 26:59 JST (effectively October 3 at 2:59 a.m.).<\/p>\n

Returning cast members from the first season include:\n<\/p>\n

Saya Fukase<\/a> (Hyakki Yakou Shou<\/a>, I Want You To Show Me Your Panties With a Disgusted Face Returns<\/a>) is directing the anime at IMAGICA Infos<\/a> \/ Imageworks Studio<\/a>, replacing first season’s director Chisaki<\/a>. Returning staff members include sound director Y\u016bichi Imaizumi<\/a>, Hiroki Nozaki<\/a> and Airi Kobayashi<\/a> for sound effects, music composer onoken<\/a>, and Kazuya Takahashi<\/a> overseeing the production.<\/p>\n

The anime’s first season debuted in July 2025 on tvk and CBC TV, and also streamed on various streaming services in Japan.<\/p>\n

Tappytoon<\/a> releases<\/a> the series. Pocket Comics<\/a> had been releasing<\/a> the series in English before the service shut down<\/a>, and it described the story:<\/p>\n

Rua is a saintess candidate who possesses the power of healing. But her ability had one flaw: she could only heal others by transferring their wounds onto herself. Because of this, others bullied her, calling her the “Fallen Saintess.” But it didn’t bother Rua because her best friend Arianne always stood up for her. One day, Rua’s crush, Commander Garrett, was on the brink of death from a beast attack. Rua healed him, which left her on the verge of death. When she woke up, she learned that all the credit was given to Arianne, and she finally saw her best friend’s true color. Devastated, Rua is lost and helpless when the second prince appears in front of her with a tempting offer. What would happen to Rua as she begins her new life as a villainess?<\/p>\n

In Japan, the webtoon runs<\/a> on comico. The series launched in August 2022 and in English in October 2022. The series’ main story ended<\/a> in June 2025. The series has been releasing side story chapters since it ended, but announced<\/a> in October 2025 that it will go on hiatus indefinitely.<\/p>\n

DNP spearheaded the concept of “light anime” to create animation at a lower cost on a more “timely” schedule compared to the traditional animation production workflow. <\/p>\n
