Photo \/ Hayden Woodward.<\/p>\n<p class=\"vhKyQPSbfZ\" style=\"display:none\">He was then put back into the police car, which left the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"vhKyQPSbfZ\" style=\"display:none\">The Serious Crash Unit attended and enquiries were continuing into the circumstances of the crash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"vhKyQPSbfZ\" style=\"display:none\">Hato Hone St John said the ambulance service was called to the scene on Pakuranga Rd at 9.10pm. Further media enquiries were directed to police.<\/p>\n<p class=\"vhKyQPSbfZ\" style=\"display:none\">One social media commenter said they had seen a person lying in the road following the incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"vhKyQPSbfZ\" style=\"display:none\">Photos from the scene last night show police markers laid across the road close to a bus stop, while a black car is parked nearby with a smashed front window.<\/p>\n<p><img  alt=\"A person has died after being hit by a car on Pakuranga Rd in Pakuranga Heights last night.
