Entertainment journalist Jason Kennedy said he felt sick to his stomach upon hearing the news that Gerber had died. <\/p>\n

\u201cI was going thru all our texts and DM\u2019s over the last 5 years and this was a young man who had a huge heart. He was always open about his struggles because he knew it would help others and IT DID. I always felt a close bond with you Presley, I wish we got to spend more time together. Watching your parents love you the way they did was beautiful, I\u2019m heartbroken for them and your whole family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Celebrities and fans alike revisited Gerber\u2019s last Instagram post, made a few weeks before his death.<\/p>\n

Brody Jenner left a comment on the six-week-old post, simply saying \u201clove you brother\u201d.<\/p>\n

The model, brother of actress Kaia Gerber, was vocal about his struggles with addiction before his death yesterday at a rehab facility.<\/p>\n

TMZ reports that Gerber\u2019s deah is being investigated as a suspected overdose, according the autopsy results, but the official cause of death has been deferred, pending further tests.<\/p>\n

His family has asked for privacy and has not released a public statement. <\/p>\n

His supermodel mother, businessman father and model and actress sister were all outspoken supporters of Presley throughout his struggle with addiction and mental health.<\/p>\n

Crawford shared a photo of her son as a child in a social media post for his birthday in July. She said: \u201cI\u2019m so proud of the man you\u2019ve become, but I\u2019ll always remember you as my little boy! Love you.\u201d<\/p>\n

His sister, 25, spoke about her brother\u2019s \u201cstruggle with drug addiction\u201d in the September 2026 issue of Vogue.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen something like that happens in a family, it kind of levels everyone.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that\u2019s also why I started to self-identify as the easy one and never wanted to ask for help. Because it felt like too much to have two children who were needing.\u201d<\/p>\n
