No money was taken because the till was not in the till drawer.<\/p>\n
He said the store\u2019s fog cannon activated and the offenders were inside briefly, before leaving in a green hatchback.<\/p>\n
He said the ordeal was \u201cthe last thing we want\u201d.<\/p>\n
A police spokesman said a youth was arrested. <\/p>\n
\u201cHe has been charged with aggravated robbery and unlawful conversion of a motor vehicle.<\/p>\n
\u201cCordons were in place while police were in attendance as a precaution.<\/p>\n
\u201cInquiries into the matter are ongoing, including inquiries to locate the remaining alleged offender.\u201d<\/p>\n
Spate of incidents <\/p>\n
Meanwhile, break-ins and robberies at other commercial premises in Napier have been reported over the past 10 days.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, Taradale Caltex was broken into about 3.50am.<\/p>\n

The store was closed at the time and offenders smashed their way into the shop, leaving behind broken glass.<\/p>\n
A Taradale Caltex worker said four people appeared to be involved and the offenders wore masks and gloves. The worker said the till and vapes were stolen.<\/p>\n
The offenders left in a white car, the worker said.<\/p>\n
Another commercial premises in Greenmeadows, understood to be BP Greenmeadows, was also burgled that morning, about 1.30am.<\/p>\n
Police are investigating both incidents and say \u201cinquiries are ongoing\u201d. No arrests have been made.<\/p>\n
A week earlier, late on Sunday, September 13, two other Napier petrol stations were targeted by offenders.<\/p>\n

Shortly afterwards, police received a report of a robbery at nearby commercial premises on Taradale Rd, understood to be the Gull fuel station.<\/p>\n
Staff were threatened at that fuel station before attendants at the store deterred the offenders, who left in a car.<\/p>\n
A youth has since been arrested in relation to that incident and is before the Youth Court.<\/p>\n
