Pok\u00e9mon is coming to the Science Museum in London<\/a> for a new space-themed experience created in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA).<\/p>\n

Opening on 2 October, the Pok\u00e9mon Space Trail<\/a> spans several galleries and pairs Pok\u00e9mon with real stories of European space science.<\/p>\n

“Visitors can set off on an adventure of discovery with our new free trail at the Science Museum, which brings beloved Pok\u00e9mon<\/a> into the museum\u2019s galleries to reveal connections between the worlds of Pok\u00e9mon and science,” said Libby Jackson, head of space at the Science Museum.<\/p>\n

The experience features large-scale installations starring beloved Pok\u00e9mon, with stops on the trail themed after Pikachu, Lunatone, Arceus and more.<\/p>\n

In the museum\u2019s Space gallery, the trail explores how NASA and ESA are returning to the moon with the Artemis programme, also highlighting the moon\u2019s impact in the Pok\u00e9mon universe.<\/p>\n

After completing the trail, fans can enjoy a dedicated Pok\u00e9mon gift shop on the museum’s mezzanine level for a selection of Pok\u00e9mon and ESA merchandise, including a limited number of astronaut Pikachu plush toys.<\/p>\n

Guests will need to book a free timed ticket<\/a> for the shop in advance and purchase limits will apply for some products, including the astronaut Pikachu plush.<\/p>\n

The gift shop will also provide a wider selection of Pok\u00e9mon merchandise, including clothing, stationery, and selected Pok\u00e9mon Trading Card Game products from the Scarlet & Violet series.<\/p>\n

“Every Pok\u00e9mon journey begins with a sense of wonder about what lies beyond the world you know,” said Mathieu Galante, senior director of licensing at the Pok\u00e9mon Company International.<\/p>\n

“From distant regions to encounters that reach into outer space, that spirit of discovery has always been part of being a Pok\u00e9mon Trainer.” <\/p>\n

The free Pok\u00e9mon Space Trail is taking place from 2 October until 3 January 2027.<\/p>\n
