A 20-show run that\u2019s been deemed \u201ca reinvention of the way a concert can be shaped to tell a story\u201d (Variety), this section of the setlist from Springsteen underscores that \u201chis catalog is ready-made for this purpose \u2026 because of how long he\u2019s been grappling with issues that too many have ignored\u201d (Rolling Stone). Among those songs featured in \u201cPart 2\u201d that are \u201cimbued with new meaning\u201d (TIME Magazine) in the context of the setlist are \u201cThe Promised Land,\u201d \u201cTwo Hearts,\u201d \u201cHungry Heart,\u201d \u201cYoungstown,\u201d \u201cMurder Incorporated,\u201d \u201cAmerican Skin (41 Shots)\u201d and \u201cLong Walk Home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/7OU91NR559A?si=M3AsvHa7NDMrfZvI\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Watch Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band\u2019s full \u201cLand of Hope and Dreams American Tour: Philadelphia Freedom Cut Part 2.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Watch \u201cLong Walk Home,\u201d introduced by Springsteen as \u201ca prayer for our country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/Ph7SZcdIK0E?si=ZUWrHSjOMAEbXdb4\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Revisit the concert\u2019s opening seven songs in the first part of the \u201cPhiladelphia Freedom Cut.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Musicians on stage for the Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour included The E Street Band\u2019s Roy Bittan (piano, synthesizer), Nils Lofgren (guitar, vocals), Garry Tallent (bass guitar), Stevie Van Zandt (guitar, vocals) and Max Weinberg (drums) with Soozie Tyrell (violin, guitar, vocals), Jake Clemons (saxophone) and Charlie Giordano (organ, keyboards, accordion). They were joined by The E Street Horns and Percussion (Anthony Almonte, Barry Danielian, Eddie Manion, Ozzie Melendez, Curt Ramm) and The E Street Choir (Ada Dyer, Curtis King, Lisa Lowell, Michelle Moore). Tom Morello performed with Springsteen and The E Street Band for each of the tour\u2019s shows as a special guest.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band\u2019s \u201cLand of Hope and Dreams American Tour: Philadelphia Freedom Cut Part 2\u201d is directed by Chris Hilson and Thom Zimny, edited by Zimny and Sam Shapiro, and produced by Bruce Springsteen, Jon Landau, Zimny and Adrienne Gerard. Sound was mixed by Jon Altschiller and recorded by John Cooper, with lighting design by Jeff Ravitz and Todd Ricci.
