Bachelor Nation saw Peg Munson and Mel Owens fall in love on Season 2 of \u201cThe Golden Bachelor.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

During the season finale, Mel handed out his final rose to Peg Munson and gave her a ring as a symbol of his commitment.<\/p>\n

Since then, the two have been enjoying their lives together as a couple and keeping followers updated with their adventures online.<\/p>\n

This week, Peg joined the \u201cBachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour\u201d podcast along with fellow \u201cGolden Bachelor\u201d star Terri Alani. And during the interview, she opened up about why she blocked co-host Kathy Swarts and other people from Bachelor Nation on social media.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Right off the bat, Kathy stated, \u201cSo here\u2019s the deal. Terri and I have been friends. We\u2019re Facebook friends. You blocked me, Peg, months ago. I don\u2019t know what you\u2019ve been up to. And when I asked why, Terri said because you like to keep your life with Mel separate, private. But Susan\u2019s not blocked. So tell me why it is that I\u2019m blocked so we can move on from this.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Peg responded, explaining that she\u2019s been prioritizing peace within her life and it wasn\u2019t a personal decision.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t do negativity in my life. Working out in the field as many years as I have worked as a firefighter, I saw a lot of trauma. And I just, really now after I retired, I keep peace at any price,\u201d she shared. \u201cIt wasn\u2019t anything personal; it\u2019s just I felt like I needed to protect my peace. It\u2019s a new relationship with Mel and I just didn\u2019t wanna \u2014 there was a lot of negativity out there.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Peg continued, explaining, \u201cIt\u2019s really simple. I have a right to have who I want in my house. I have a door, I lock my door. I only allow people into my home that I choose to have. And it\u2019s my prerogative. It has nothing to do with you personally. It\u2019s just I keep all of that out\u2026 I have a really great life and I keep it that way. Just stop taking it personal. It\u2019s okay; it\u2019s just who I choose to allow on my platform.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Terri then chimed in and expressed that Peg did a \u201cblanket block\u201d due to negativity she faced.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI was talking to Peg when all this went down as far as the blocking stuff, and I think what she\u2019s trying to say is it was just more of a blanket block,\u201d Terri said. \u201cI think she was talking to Susan, but I think it was just everybody\u2026 And then, once she got into her relationship, and things had passed and all the negativity from everything, not you personally. I think she unblocked everyone if I\u2019m not mistaken, but I think it was just a blanket decision.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
