If you were itching for a movie about what Ina Garten<\/a>\u2019s life was like working at the White House, or how she transitioned into the home-cook extraordinaire she is, you might need to keep scratching. Garten told People<\/a> that she has no plans to make her life into a movie, despite getting several offers after she released her memoir, Be Ready When the Luck Happens. \u201cIt\u2019s funny, I don\u2019t make long-term plans. I do what I do as well as I can, and things come along, and I say no to most of them,\u201d she explained. \u201cI\u2019ve been approached to do a movie of my memoir, but I know that when a producer or director gets ahold of a story, they want to make it work on film and they\u2019re going to change it. So I\u2019ve never been willing to do that. It\u2019s my story. I get to keep it. And I don\u2019t want people making up things just for dramatic effect.
