Anxiety over an AI-driven future has crept into nearly every corner of the workplace. From junior staffers worried about automation to managers fearing irrelevance<\/a>, no one feels entirely safe.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Even CEOs aren\u2019t immune: nearly three-quarters say they fear losing their jobs<\/a> if they can\u2019t deliver business results with AI.<\/p>\n

But David Rogier<\/a> isn\u2019t one of them. The MasterClass founder and CEO sees AI not as a threat but as an accelerant, one that\u2019s already reshaped how he works on a daily basis.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you aren\u2019t using AI and you\u2019re a CEO, what are you doing?\u201d Rogier told Fortune. \u201cYou are holding yourself back. You\u2019re like, \u2018I only want to be 80% as productive as I can be.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

By his count, being a \u201cheavy user\u201d of the technology has made him so efficient he\u2019s reclaimed the equivalent of the entire workday, time he now funnels into the parts of the business that demand his leadership the most.\u00a0<\/p>\n

MasterClass\u2019s CEO uses eight separate AI tools<\/p>\n

With so many different AI tools on the market, it\u2019s impossible to just use one and be a time maximizer. Instead, Rogier\u2019s \u201cAI CEO Stack\u201d consists of over half a dozen LLMs.<\/p>\n

Rogier\u2019s main AI helper is a custom version of ChatGPT<\/a> named \u201cDavidify\u201d that synthesizes all of his notes. If he needs to draft an email or a speech, all he has to do is prompt it with a few bullet points, and it will write it in his style.<\/p>\n

His AI stack<\/a> also includes:<\/p>\n

Gamma: \u201cBuilds my all-hands decks faster and way prettier\u201c<\/p>\n

Make.com + Todoist + ChatGPT: \u201cAuto-prioritizes my to-do list automatically every night. No more staring at 50 tasks and trying to prioritize.\u201c<\/p>\n

NotebookLM<\/a>: \u201cTakes all the YouTube<\/a> talks and academic papers I want to watch and read and makes me a 15-min podcast for my walks.\u201c<\/p>\n

Lovable: \u201cRapid product mockups leads to way faster feedback loops.\u201c<\/p>\n

On Call<\/a>: \u201cI ask Chris Voss and Mark Cuban<\/a> questions and don\u2019t worry about actually bugging them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Claude Projects: \u201cLoaded with our customer demographics. I ask it for real-time feedback on new ideas.\u201c<\/p>\n

How CEOs are embracing AI in the workplace<\/p>\n

Rogier hasn\u2019t been alone in his embrace of AI. CEOs, especially in the tech sector, see daily AI usage as table stakes for staying competitive.<\/p>\n

Microsoft<\/a> CEO Satya Nadella has said<\/a> GPT-5 within Microsoft\u2019s 365 Copilot has \u201cbecome part of my everyday workflow, adding a new layer of intelligence spanning all my apps.\u201d In fact, the billionaire uses the generative technology to generate meeting summaries, project updates, monitor productivity, and more.<\/p>\n

Similarly, Nvidia<\/a> CEO Jensen Huang<\/a> uses AI as both a learning and research tool, most often utilizing Perplexity and ChatGPT.<\/p>\n

\u201cI use [AI] as a tutor every day,\u201d Huang said<\/a> at the Milken Institute Global Conference earlier this year. \u201cIn areas that are fairly new to me, I might say, \u2018Start by explaining it to me like I\u2019m a 12-year-old,\u2019 and then work your way up into a doctorate-level over time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other tech leaders have gone even further with their AI use. CEOs such as Zoom\u2019s Eric Yuan<\/a> and Klarna\u2019s Sebastian Siemiatkowski<\/a> have both appeared on recent earnings calls using AI-generated video replicas that deliver scripted remarks in their voice and likeness. And Klarna has even gone so far as to open up a 24\/7 \u201cAI CEO Hotline<\/a>,\u201d a service that fields customer inequities around the clock, responding in Siemiatkowski\u2019s conversational style in both English and Swedish.<\/p>\n

With AI only improving with time, these CEOs have at a minimum set an example of how technology can be integrated throughout their work\u2014and likely expect their employees to do the same.\n<\/p>\n
