National and Labour have officially launched their bids for power at November’s election, with very different functions in Auckland.<\/p>\n

National leader Christopher Luxon continued to push his “no new taxes” line, while Labour counterpart Chris Hipkins profited from Luxon’s “cry me a river” comments.<\/p>\n

The rallies were attended by party royalty Sir John Key and Helen Clark respectively.<\/p>\n
