ITV has released first-look images and a trailer for its upcoming drama Adultery, a new six-part series created and written by Danny Brocklehurst, who previously penned Harlan Coben adaptations including Fool Me Once, Stay Close, Missing You and Run Away.

The plot follows teenagers Jess and Ollie as they embark on a blossoming romance, but when Jess’ father Tom (played by Dominic Cooper) and Ollie’s mother Beth (played by Romola Garai) meet, the sparks between them are obvious.

As the title of the show implies, Tom and Beth getting together is a bad idea that risks ruining both of their marriages.
