\u201cAfter more than six decades, The Final Encore will most definitely be my last.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been singing the music I love since I was 19 years old, and I\u2019ve had the privilege of taking it around the world to all of you. It has given me a life beyond anything I could ever have imagined, and I hope I\u2019ve given you some fond memories in return,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He thanked fans \u201cfor making this extraordinary life possible\u201d. <\/p>\n

\u201cI hope you\u2019ll join me so I can thank you the best way I know how\u2026 with the music and one hell of a show. See you there.\u201d\u2060<\/p>\n

The Final Encore Tour will kick off in April 2027 in Dublin, Ireland, before dates across the United Kingdom and mainland Europe, and United States dates in September.<\/p>\n

Stewart, 81, cancelled a tour last month after undergoing heart surgery<\/a>. It was the latest in a string of concert cancellations due to health reasons, with the Maggie May hitmaker also cancelling a show in California<\/a> and pulling out of Las Vegas shows after doctor\u2019s orders<\/a>. <\/p>\n

In June, he made headlines after pausing a Utah concert to use an oxygen tank<\/a> after nearly fainting.<\/p>\n

He copped online backlash after attending a World Cup game despite cancelling the concert for health reasons, something he later admitted \u201cwasn\u2019t a good look\u201d<\/a>. <\/p>\n

His August heart procedure halted his \u201cOne Last Time\u201d tour, meant to be a farewell to large-scale tours.<\/p>\n
