\u201cIn sobriety it\u2019s all about one day at a time, and that we\u2019re not in control, so that\u2019s the way we\u2019re looking at it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI mean, right now, I feel great. We got a new record coming out soon with Lady A and then we got Christmas shows and this first six months of treatment, I believe, is not going to be too super invasive. I can still work. I think physically I will feel like myself. I\u2019ll have tough days, but I want to keep working.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Need You Now hitmaker, who has sons Ward, 10, and Archer, 1, with Cassie, promised to keep fans updated at \u201cappropriate\u201d times through his treatment.<\/p>\n
\u201cI need to be happy and doing what I love to do and spending and soaking up as much time with my family as I can as well.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut I\u2019m hopeful. I really am. But we just wanted to let you all know and I\u2019ll try to let you in when I feel like it\u2019s appropriate throughout the journey. It\u2019s just another hurdle and I feel confident that we\u2019re gonna get through it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kelley then shared a kiss with his wife, who said she was thankful \u201cfor a great care team\u201d and for the \u201creally great doctors\u201d in Nashville.<\/p>\n
Kelley\u2019s bandmates, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood, were among those who sent their support in the comments of their friend\u2019s post.<\/p>\n
Scott wrote: \u201cThe strongest duo right there! Love y\u2019all so much! You\u2019ve got this!\u201d<\/p>\n
