After months of speculation over the state of their marriage, Princess Beatrice<\/a> and her husband Edo Mapelli-Mozzi<\/a> appeared in good spirits as they stepped out in September for dinner at the swanky Michelin-starred Dorian restaurant London\u2019s Notting Hill.<\/p>\n

But this was no date night. Indeed, the eldest daughter of disgraced Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor<\/a> and Sarah Ferguson<\/a>, was accompanied by a powerful Spotify exec, known for her skills in dealing with a crisis.<\/p>\n

Dustee Jenkins is a former White House worker, who one friend described as an \u201cold hand at crisis management\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cDustee would be a natural person for Beatrice, or any of the Yorks, to turn to for reputational management,\u201d the insider told the Mail On Sunday.<\/p>\n

Of course, it\u2019s well known that the public perception of Beatrice has taken something of a battering in recent months, thanks to the actions of her father, and her role in his infamous Newsnight interview.<\/p>\n

And while, her sister Princess Eugenie<\/a>\u2019s relocation to Portugal for the birth of her new baby girl Adelaide has appeared to \u201cchange\u201d sentiment towards her \u2013 according to one royal expert \u2013 the same is not true of Beatrice.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeatrice and Eugenie have had an extremely tough period whilst their parents are publicly disgraced,\u201d Richard Fitzwilliams previously told Daily Mail.<\/p>\n

\u201cYet there has been a change in the perception of Eugenie,\u201d he said. \u201cA happy event, the birth of Adelaide and the delightful photographs Eugenie has shared with us, remind us all of the very human predicament of those in the public eye with parents who have disgraced themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now, sources tell Woman\u2019s Day that Beatrice is seeking to achieve something similar herself.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeatrice is adamant that she\u2019s not going to sit around feeling sorry for herself, nor does she intend to lay low and drift into obscurity,\u201d the insider shares.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s got way too much pride and courage for that, not to mention a whole heap to lose including her relationship with the British royal family.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cSo right now the new strategy is to come out smiling and show the world \u2013 as well as the royals \u2013 that she\u2019s in a happy, secure place and ready for a new beginning, putting her parents\u2019 scandals squarely in the rear view mirror.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source adds that both Beatrice and Edo are aware of the need to be \u201cproactive and professional\u201d, and says Edo himself has been at pains to support his wife.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe pointed out that it\u2019s worked well for Eugenie as well as Jack, and that they would be wise to follow suit and enlist the help and guidance of a paid professional,\u201d the source continues.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeatrice is going along with this and she feels confident it\u2019s a positive and proactive path that should work well for them.\u201d<\/p>\n

But of course, redemption won\u2019t come easy, given that \u2013 as one insider puts it \u2013 Andrew and Fergie have \u201ceffectively taken a giant wrecking ball to the entire family\u2019s reputation\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe odds are that Beatrice will continue to distance herself from her parents, publicly at least, and get involved with charitable causes as well as business opportunities that can\u2019t be questioned or criticised in any way at all,\u201d the insider adds.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s easier said than done of course and she\u2019s well aware that expert strategy is what\u2019s called for right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source went on to explain that the dinner meeting with Dustee Jenkins was \u201cvery much step one towards achieving that long-term goal\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cBeatrice and Edo did their homework and sought plenty of advice before they settled on Dustee, who\u2019s been highly recommended by a number of their friends and acquaintances,\u201d the insider adds.<\/p>\n
