A man has been charged with murder after a person was found dead in the Auckland suburb of Glen Innes yesterday afternoon. <\/p>\n

Police are also looking for anyone who may have seen two vehicles travelling in tandem before the incident. <\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to Sunnymead Road at around 2.45pm<\/a> following reports that a person had been critically injured. A man was pronounced dead at the scene. <\/p>\n

A 33-year-old man was taken into custody and charged with murder overnight. He will appear in the Auckland District Court today. <\/p>\n

“Police are not seeking anybody else in relation to this incident,” a spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

Acting Detective Inspector Craig Bolton said the investigation would continue, and residents could expect an increased police presence in the area. <\/p>\n

\u201cAs part of our enquiries, Police are asking for information from anyone who may have witnessed two vehicles travelling in tandem before the events on Sunnymead Road,” Bolton said. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe are seeking information and dashcam footage relating to a black Audi A3 and a silver Toyota Crown seen travelling through the Panmure and Glen Innes areas on Thursday afternoon.” <\/p>\n
