In a statement, Swarbrick said McClay had provided \u201czero evidence\u201d to support his \u201cbizarre claim\u201d. She said Luxon\u2019s Government was blaming everybody else for the consequences of its policy to \u201cshred climate action\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe worst absurdity of all of this is that the most fired up the Government has got on climate action is trying to cover their tracks by attacking everyone else, instead of doing the responsible thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Luxon said he was not worried about the international complaint because New Zealand upheld its free trade obligations.<\/p>\n
