\n\tPaul McCartney<\/a>, who performed \u201cI Want to Hold Your Hand\u201d at Taylor Swift<\/a> and Travis Kelce\u2019s wedding, has shared some inside details three months after the event \u2014 like how he ended up onstage.<\/p>\n

\n\tThough McCartney\u2019s wedding appearance was reported soon after the July 3 reception at New York City\u2019s famous Madison Square Garden, the Beatle confirmed it himself on Friday\u2019s (Oct. 2) episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cDid you know you were gonna sing going in?\u201d Kimmel asked, getting the scoop for the general public, whose curiosity about the wedding still lingers. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYep. She asked me to do it,\u201d McCartney said, verifying that the song he sang was the 1964 Beatles classic \u201cI Want to Hold Your Hand.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThat was her request? Or she asked you to pick a song?\u201d was Kimmel\u2019s next question.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYeah, it was, yeah,\u201d McCartney answered, then added that he\u2019d hoped Swift would join in on the performance since she was on the stage already.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI said, \u2018You should sing along. You should sing to\u2026\u201d McCartney recounted, then paused. \u201cYour man.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSeemingly forgetting the name of Swift\u2019s husband for a moment, after a quick laugh from the audience and a nudge from Kimmel he came back with: \u201cI know. Travis.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSeems like reasonable advice,\u201d Kimmel quipped of McCartney\u2019s idea for a live wedding-day collab with Swift, and then wrapped the interview.<\/p>\n

\n\tWedding attendees have mostly remained tight-lipped about any specifics from the ceremony and reception, including the bride and groom, who\u2019ve not shared a single wedding portrait. <\/p>\n

\n\tSwift\u2019s close friend (and \u201cPatient Zero\u201d music video co-star) Dakota Johnson recently gave a simple answer \u2014 \u201cno\u201d \u2014 when asked whether she thought any photos would ever come out from the day. \u201cShe\u2019s surprising, isn\u2019t she?\u201d said BBC Radio 1\u2019s Greg James, who was interviewing Johnson<\/a> (and who was also a guest at the wedding, after Swift invited him during her last interview with him). \u201cShe is. Sneaky girl,\u201d Johnson replied.<\/p>\n

\n\tKelce did share some comments about the wedding on his New Heights podcast<\/a> with brother Jason last month, saying it was a \u201cnight out we\u2019ll never forget.\u201d Kelce shared, \u201cMe and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up, from the vows to just seeing everyone, to how much fun we had, throughout the entire evening, and hearing that kind of be relayed through everybody\u2019s stories of the night. And it was just so magical, man. I wish it could\u2019ve lasted even longer than it did. It felt like it just happened in the blink of an eye.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOf the venue choice, Kelce explained, \u201cWe wanted do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions. We needed it to be a private feel. MSG went above and beyond to give us that. I can\u2019t thank everybody enough that showed up, but [who] also put the show on.\u201d<\/p>\n
