While things have been relatively quiet for Meghan Markle since she and Prince Harry moved their family back to the UK, tomorrow, her brand As Ever is set to open preorders for a limited-edition advent calendar featuring an illustration of the Sussex family\u2019s Montecito, California home.<\/p>\n

The brand announced news of the collaboration with gourmet Los Angeles chocolatier Compart\u00e9s in their newsletter with an image of Meghan next to the box (pictured above), writing, \u201cSome things are worth the wait.\u201d As Ever and Compart\u00e9s first teamed up in December 2025<\/a>, and collaborated again earlier this year with a Valentine\u2019s Day collection<\/a>. The advent calendar launch marks their biggest partnership yet.<\/p>\n

The keepsake calendar features 24 handcrafted chocolates \u201cto sweeten each day,\u201d per the inside description on the box.<\/p>\n

The design of the calendar itself features an illustration of Meghan and Harry\u2019s Montecito mansion in a holiday scene, with little details that nod to previously shared photographs of the Sussex home in California\u2014including the two palm trees in their backyard that are referenced in the As Ever logo<\/a>, and numerous chickens<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Per an image shared in the As Ever newsletter today, the chocolates, like the advent calendar, feature numbered labels in what appears to be Meghan\u2019s handwriting.<\/p>\n

The focus on Montecito in the advent calendar is notable. Though the Sussexes moved back to the UK<\/a> in August, the family is keeping their Montecito house, and their vacation property in Portugal. In 2022, in a profile in The Cut, Meghan said<\/a>, \u201cWe did everything we could to get this house,\u201d referring to their Montecio home. \u201cBecause you walk in and go\u2026 Joy. And exhale. And calm. It\u2019s healing. You feel free.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition, a representative for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex described their move to the UK as short-term to the New York Times<\/a>. \u201cOn the heels of a wonderful trip with family and friends this summer, Harry and Meghan have decided to spend an extended period in the U.K. this autumn,\u201d the representative said in a statement. \u201cThey are excited to have their children spend more time in the country that\u2019s such an important part of their family\u2019s story.\u201d It\u2019s unclear how long the couple do plan to stay in the UK with their children.<\/p>\n

Meghan\u2019s best friend, Kelly Zajfen, recently visited the Sussexes at their new home, and posted on Instagram<\/a> after, \u201cTo everyone we\u2019ve met or bumped into, thank you for being so loving to my friend,\u201d referring to Meghan. \u201cIt\u2019s been beautiful to witness. She missed you too!\u201d<\/p>\n
