That is the question everyone is asking right now, as the contract for the Flying Fijians Head Coach is scheduled to begin today, but the Fiji Rakavi Football Union is yet to announce who will take charge of the national side, with less than three weeks until Fiji faces Japan.

According to the advertised terms for the position, the contract runs from today to 31st December 2027.

The Flying Fijians face Japan on 24th October before beginning their Nations Championship campaign in November, raising questions about when preparations under the new coach will begin.

The 68-member extended squad was named eight days ago, with questions also remaining over whether the incoming head coach will be responsible for selecting the final squad.

At the moment it is now down to 2 applicants although FRU has not confirmed who they are.
