For the first time, the last people to see him alive create this essential account: from the actor John Boyega and Boyega’s sister Grace (Damilola’s mates who were at the library with him) to Guillermo Casal (the North Peckham Estate caretaker who found Damilola and cradled him as he died). His brother Tunde and the former Met officer Leroy Logan also revisit events, which eventually led to the conviction of two brothers, and take a wider look at why there were so many similar killings. The trauma and sadness remain palpable, but there is also a lot of love and even hope to be found in Damilola’s legacy. Hollie Richardson

Panorama: Cancer Before 50 – Why Is It Rising?

8pm, BBC One
According to NHS data, rates of bowel and breast cancers are rapidly rising among much younger demographics. The reporter Hayley Hassall investigates the root causes, from ultraprocessed food to micro-chemicals, while speaking to patients and looking at the latest scientific research. She also asks if the government is doing enough to protect vulnerable people. Priya Elan

Clickbait Clinic With Stacey Dooley

8.30pm, BBC One
NAD+ drips are the next viral “wellness claim” investigated by Dooley. Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow and the Kardashians are fans – and people who use them claim to be “ageing backwards”. But do they actually do anything? Dooley crashes a brunch where women are hooked up to the drips while sipping prosecco, before asking the health experts. Photograph: Channel 4

This superb legal drama somehow pulls off being very funny and devastatingly compelling. David Harewood cuts a suave, wry figure as Pierre, a duty solicitor in London – but does his need to be a hero confuse integrity with vanity? It’s put to the test when a teenager he helps at the police station is later found killed and he swears to solve the mystery around what happened. HR

Michael Palin in the Philippines

9pm, Channel 5
Palin heads deeper into the Philippines, from Palawan’s natural landscape to Moalboal’s extraordinary sardine shoals. Yet, as he observes, “there is darkness here”: the nickel mine threatening Indigenous communities; the fact that divorce is illegal. “I’m starting to wonder if there’s a price to pay for living in paradise,” he says. Ali Catterall

Pete Wicks: For Dogs’ Sake

9pm, U&W
There’s a suspicious lump on a Maltese in this week’s reality star-hosted profile of the Dogs Trust’s work. Will it be bad news? It certainly doesn’t look good for the cane corso who continues to be investigated for a neurological condition, but things are on the up for a family of spitzes who are struggling in a new environment. Wicks is going to help “build their confidence”. Lucky them. Alexi Duggins

Film choice

All We Imagine As Light (Payal Kapadia, 2024), 10.20pm, Film4
This exceptional Cannes-winning drama explores life in Mumbai through the eyes of three women. Senior nurse Prabha (Kani Kusruti) is married, but her husband is absent working in Germany. Her young colleague and flatmate Anu (Divya Prabha) is a Hindu secretly in love with a Muslim boy. And hospital cook Parvathy (Chhaya Kadam) is facing the demolition of her home by developers. As their intimate, involving stories unfold, Kapadia reveals a bustling, rain-soaked, ever-changing city – a place that draws migrants such as them but never truly feels like home.
