Guillermo Rodriguez<\/a> may not have given the judges much of a samba Tuesday night, but Dancing with the Stars<\/a> viewers remain obsessed.<\/p>\n

The Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/a> sidekick and pro partner Witney Carson<\/a> took on Mariah Carey<\/a>\u2019s \u201cObsessed\u201d for the show\u2019s Mariah Carey Night, earning a 13 out of 30 from the judges\u2014and, once again, enough support from viewers to keep Rodriguez in the competition.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat wasn\u2019t quite a samba, but it was 100% Guillermo,\u201d Derek Hough<\/a> told him after the performance. \u201cAnd just like everybody else, I\u2019m obsessed with you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hough conceded that \u201cthe whisks weren\u2019t quite whisking,\u201d but added, \u201cIt was a lot of fun, my man. We love you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bruno Tonioli<\/a> went one better.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was more of a Shambo than a samba,\u201d he said, \u201cbut I do understand why you\u2019re becoming a national obsession. I can\u2019t stop watching you, my darling.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carrie Ann Inaba<\/a> was less enthusiastic, telling Rodriguez that she thought some of his usual spark was missing.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhere\u2019s all your joy, that special thing you bring every time?\u201d she asked. \u201cI felt you were dimming your light a little bit in this dance.\u201d<\/p>\n

Still, Inaba made clear that the criticism came with affection.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t ever want you to dim your light because you\u2019re special, and you have a natural gift we need,\u201d she told him. \u201cI want it more.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then it came time to give him their scores:<\/p>\n

Inaba and Hough each gave Rodriguez a 4, while Tonioli awarded him a 5 \u201cfor the madness,\u201d giving Rodriguez and Carson a total of 13 out of 30.<\/p>\n

The tally represented a step backward after Rodriguez hit a season-high 15 for last week\u2019s foxtrot. He has now scored 10, 12, 15, and 13 through his first four weeks in the ballroom.<\/p>\n

Rodriguez, for his part, didn\u2019t seem too rattled by the criticism.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know what? I just do my best,\u201d he told Julianne Hough<\/a> afterward. \u201cBeing a diva is hard.\u201d<\/p>\n

Whatever he\u2019s doing, viewers still want more of it. Rodriguez and Carson survived Tuesday night\u2019s elimination and will return for Week 5.<\/p>\n

As for Rodriguez, he already has his plan: \u201cI\u2019m going to be a diva from now on!\u201d<\/p>\n
