The company alleged that they have attempted to serve Seaver his summons on three separate occasions.<\/p>\n
They claim that the second time, there were four cars in his driveway, but no one answered the door.<\/p>\n
They continued: \u201cEventually, Mr Seaver\u2019s residence had a no-trespassing sign in the front yard and barbed wire draped across the handrails leading to the front door.\u201d<\/p>\n
The company has urged the court to treat Seaver\u2019s claims about his immediate search for legal counsel \u201cwith considerable scepticism\u201d.<\/p>\n
They said: \u201cHe waited until the last moment to take any action, and the court should not reward that behaviour.<\/p>\n
\u201cMoreover\u2026 Mr Seaver already has lawyers who appear to be anxious to represent him.\u201d<\/p>\n
Parton\u2019s manager, Danny Nozell, had filed for the restraining order on behalf of She\u2019s Alive, alleging Seaver had threatened him and attempted to extort him.<\/p>\n
Seaver previously dismissed the case as a \u201cpublicity stunt\u201d.<\/p>\n
Responding to the lawsuit, he told ABC News in a statement: \u201cThe restraining order is spurious and simply a publicity stunt.\u201d<\/p>\n
He confirmed he had been fired.<\/p>\n
\u201cAfter the estate negotiated with me and my company for services in perpetuity and agreed to that service provision from my company<\/p>\n
\u201cA week later they fired me for these contrived \u2018threats.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
In documents obtained by People magazine, it was alleged Seaver began a \u201ccampaign of threats, intimidation, and coercion a few weeks prior to Ms Parton\u2019s passing\u201d.<\/p>\n
The filing continued: \u201cIn writing, he vowed to \u2018destroy the entire brand\u2019 and also told her entertainment attorney: \u201cI\u2019m not an entertainment person. I\u2019m a killer.\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n
In response, Seaver denied the allegations and insisted his text had been taken \u201cout of context\u201d.<\/p>\n
He added: \u201cDolly called me her killer. It was a joke we used around her camp.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was her \u2018baby boy ninja\u2019 and Danny Nozell took that text out of context to somehow imagine that I was threatening him.
