Sebastian Stan<\/a> has a new perspective on his upcoming film, Fjord, after becoming a father.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, it\u2019s interesting looking back now having had some time away from it and kind of coming at it objectively,\u201d Stan, 44, said during a recent episode of the \u201cHappy Sad Confused\u201d podcast. \u201cBecause I\u2019m asking myself: What are these things that I grew up with that I should pass on to my kid? And what are the things that I grew up with that really didn\u2019t work that I don\u2019t wanna pass on?\u201d<\/p>\n

The Thunderbolts actor welcomed his first baby<\/a> with his partner, Annabelle Wallis, in July.<\/p>\n

In Fjord, a film loosely inspired by the true story of the Bodnariu family, Stan and Renate Reinsve star as a conservative Romanian-Norwegian couple who face scrutiny after moving to the wife\u2019s progressive remote Norwegian hometown, where they are accused of abusing their children.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAnnabelle Wallis officially unveiled her baby bump in the most glamorous of settings. The Peaky Blinders star, 41, was joined by boyfriend Sebastian Stan\u00a0on Sunday, May 17, while posing for photos on the 2016 Kering Women in Motion Awards red carpet at Cannes Film Festival. Dressed in a floor-length one-shoulder black gown that cut out [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n

Stan noted on the podcast that \u201cso much of what we pass on\u201d to children revolves around generational customs.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think looking at this movie, it\u2019s really quite wild,\u201d he said. \u201cI play a character that was raised very differently than me, but these were very traditional male Eastern European figures that I sort of saw in my own dad, my grandfather, and so on.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stan continued, \u201cI\u2019m at it from the same point that I think, and I hope, any viewer would be, which is now to try to ask: \u2018What would you do in that situation?\u2019 \u2018What would you do if you\u2019re being accused of those things and your kids are being taken away from it?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Stan added that parents will likely \u201chave a very different experience\u201d watching the movie.<\/p>\n

News broke in April that Stan and Wallis, 42 \u2014 who have been romantically linked since May 2022 \u2014 were expecting their first baby together. Stan broke his silence on the pregnancy<\/a> the following month, telling Deadline, \u201cI want to be a good dad.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m feeling the responsibility of being a good father. And not to mention a good man,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cI\u2019m 43 and I feel, in a lot of ways, I\u2019m just starting to learn now. It\u2019s just crazy to me. So, I love when I see I\u2019m discovering different people\u2019s point of view. I try to read as much as I can, no matter what the point of view is, just to understand it.\u201d<\/p>\n
