It did not name a launch date, an issuer or a blockchain at the time.<\/p>\n The release names Solana and USDC, but does not say whether Circle is a partner, whether users will hold their own keys, or what transfers will cost.<\/p>\n Stablecoin supply on Solana is up nearly 20% year over year, and the network has processed more than $5.25 trillion in stablecoin volume in 2026, according to the Foundation, which cited PayPal<\/a> and Western Union<\/a> as enterprises already using Solana for stablecoins. Visa has also tapped USDC on Solana<\/a> for payment settlement.<\/p>\n Samsung launched a blockchain wallet<\/a> for Galaxy phones in 2019 and has since added crypto support on the Galaxy S20<\/a>, Stellar integration<\/a> and hardware wallet connections<\/a>. Last October, it brought Coinbase<\/a> into Samsung Wallet for 75 million U.S. users.<\/p>\n Solana Mobile, the network’s smartphone arm, released the Saga<\/a> in 2023 and the Seeker<\/a> last year, and airdropped<\/a> its SKR token to Seeker users but not Saga owners.<\/p>\n “99% of people thought that [Yakovenko]’s initiatives around phones were dumb.
