The 30-year-old could be in line for a start on the flank against the Kiwis next Thursday night in the World Cup opener given Clive Churchill Medal winner James Tedesco is set to be a lock for the No. 1 jersey.<\/p>\n
Regardless of where he plays, Trbojevic is just happy to be back in the picture. <\/p>\n
Once again, injuries caused havoc this season which Trbojevic labelled \u201cfrustrating\u201d as he played in only 14 games but the star fullback did finish the year strong for Manly. <\/p>\n
\u201cI didn\u2019t play a lot of footy this year, which was disappointing,\u201d Trbojevic told CODE Sports.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI felt like I could finish these last few games strong, which would bring potential. But I still didn\u2019t really expect it.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s tough for Manly as well. It\u2019s tough to sit on the sideline when you\u2019re not playing footy, so yeah, \u2018frustrating\u2019 is a good word.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is disappointing, but it\u2019s a game and it\u2019s been my journey so far.\u201d<\/p>\n Trbojevic has played just three Test for Australia in six years.<\/p>\n Source: Getty Images<\/p>\n Trbojevic, who has had a horror run of hamstring injuries, admits overcoming the mental hurdle when he hits the field is a challenge. <\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s always uncertainty, but I wouldn\u2019t say fear. You work really hard in the rehab process to eliminate it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
