The manga’s story centers on Rihito \u014ctsuka \u2014 a laid-back and unbothered guy, and an employee in a game company, whose motto in life is to conserve energy \u2014 and Noa Saotome, his senior and an art director. Noa, a quintessential career woman, is deeply trusted by her superiors and admired by her juniors. But one day, Rihito accidentally discovers Noa’s secret side that she strictly keeps hidden. This starts the “friends only” after-work relationship between Noa and Rihito.<\/p>\n

Shinsuke Yanagi<\/a> (Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki<\/a>, Senpai is an Otokonoko<\/a>, High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even In Another World<\/a>) is directing the anime at feel.<\/a>, Keiichir\u014d \u014cchi<\/a> (I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class<\/a>, The Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting<\/a>, The Quintessential Quintuplets<\/a>) is in charge of series scripts, and Yumiko Yamamoto<\/a> (Seven Senses of the Re’Union<\/a>, Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld<\/a>, Yohane the Parhelion -SUNSHINE in the MIRROR<\/a>) is designing the characters. <\/p>\n

Akiyama launched the manga in Shueisha<\/a>‘s Weekly Young Jump<\/a> magazine in 2023. Shueisha will publish the manga’s 12th compiled book volume on October 19.<\/p>\n

Akiyama launched<\/a> the Killer in Love (Kimi ni Koisuru Satsujinki<\/a>) manga on Shogakukan<\/a>‘s Manga ONE and Ura Sunday<\/a> services in January 2021. The manga ended<\/a> in 2022. Comikey<\/a> publishes<\/a> the manga digitally in English.<\/p>\n
