The singer performed in Auckland that evening and told the crowd about his experience of jumping out of a plane at nearly 5500m, with up to 75 seconds of freefall at about 200km\/h, followed by a parachute flight with views over Auckland\u2019s east and west coasts.<\/p>\n
The singer took to social media this morning to tell his 4.6 million fans on Instagram about his time in his \u201cnew favourite city\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cI sky dived then played two shows in my new favorite city. Gonna miss you guys I don\u2019t want to leave,\u201d Kahan posted, alongside a carousel of images of his concerts in Auckland, including photos of him playing while wearing an All Blacks jersey.<\/p>\n
Kahan donned the rugby jersey to show his support for New Zealand<\/a> at his first show at Spark Arena on Friday night before the team\u2019s Bledisloe Cup clash with the Wallabies on Saturday<\/a>. <\/p>\n Auckland was the place to be on Saturday night, with the All Blacks playing (and beating) the Wallabies at Eden Park at the same time Kahan performed his second Spark Arena show.<\/p>\n The All Blacks showed their appreciation for his backing of the men in black in a social media post.<\/p>\n \u201cWelcome to the All Black family brother \ud83d\udda4,\u201d they wrote, prompting a flurry of comments from fans.<\/p>\n Kahan is a Vermont-based folk singer-songwriter and Grammy nominee who shot to international stardom in the past few years, particularly following the global success of his third album, Stick Season, released in 2022.<\/p>\n Kahan is currently on his The Great Divide tour, to promote his latest album, of the same name.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\u201cWorth every f***ing cent, baby.
