According to the report, the drugs were recalled because of consumer complaints about discolored tablets. <\/p>\n<p>Amazon told NBC Chicago in a statement the recall was voluntary and was impacting specific lots of Amazon Basic Care Extra Strength Pain Relief acetaminophen. <\/p>\n<p>The recalled over-the-counter medicine, typically used as a pain reliever or fever reducer, were sold in 200-count, 500-count and 1,000-count bottles. <\/p>\n<p>Full details about the bottles can be found below:<\/p>\n<p>14,640 200-count bottles of Amazon, Acetaminophen, Extra Strength, 500mg Caplets recalled; <\/p>\n<p>Lot #ACD125040A, expiration date Sept. 30, 2027<\/p>\n<p>90,456 500-count bottles of Amazon, Acetaminophen, Extra Strength, 500mg Caplets recalled<\/p>\n<p>Lot#: ACD124036A, ACD124030A, Exp Date: Sept. 30, 2027<\/p>\n<p>ACD124042A, Exp Date: Oct. 31, 2027<\/p>\n<p>ACD124048B, Exp Date: Nov 30, 2027<\/p>\n<p>ACD125010A, Exp Date: Feb 29, 2028<\/p>\n<p>7,836 1000-count bottles of Amazon, Acetaminophen, Extra Strength, 500mg Caplets recalled<\/p>\n<p>Lot# ACD124048A, Exp Date Nov. 30. 2027<\/p>\n<p>The FDA has not yet assigned a classification level to the recall. FDA recalls are typically categorized into one of three levels, each with varying health risks. <\/p>\n<p>No adverse health events have been reported, and Amazon has contacted the affected customers.
