Celine Dion is being made into a doll, one that will be sought by fans near, far, wherever they are.<\/p>\n
The maker of Barbie announced it was releasing a special edition doll of Dion, 58, as part of its Mattel Creations line. The toy is modeled after the Canadian singer\u2019s 1998 Oscars performance, where she sang \u201cMy Heart Will Go On\u201d from James Cameron\u2019s \u201cTitanic\u201d film.<\/p>\n
Dion\u2019s doll form has the same hair style, long-sleeved gown from her performance, as well as the Heart of the Ocean, the necklace that was famously featured in the movie. <\/p>\n
The company announced the doll in an Instagram post and urged consumers not to wait. The caption noted that \u201cshe\u2019s limited and she\u2019s legendary.\u201d <\/p>\n
The doll is the latest celebration of the 58-year-old\u2019s career after Dion revealed she\u2019d been diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder<\/a>. She announced in 2022 that she had stiff-person syndrome, telling fans in a video that the disease was causing painful spasms that it made it difficult for her to walk.<\/p>\n \u201cUnfortunately, these spasms affect every aspect of my daily life, sometimes causing difficulties when I walk and not allowing me to use my vocal chords to sing the way I\u2019m used to,\u201d Dion said at the time.<\/p>\n But Dion refused to allow the disease to stop her from singing. <\/p>\n
