PlayStation Plus<\/a> is dressing up as a gangster this month. It\u2019s not the most Halloween move the service could make, but I\u2019m kind of into it.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s something very autumnal to me about mafia films and, therefore, the Mafia game series. Maybe it\u2019s the muted color palette in some films, like the shades of brown throughout the Godfather, or all the suits and coats everyone wears that make me think of cooler weather. Either way, it feels fitting to me that Mafia: The Old Country, with its tale of organized crime in the hills of Sicily, is coming to PlayStation Plus this month.<\/p>\n

PlayStation Plus, which is Sony\u2019s version of Xbox Game Pass,<\/a> offers a large, constantly expanding library of games<\/a>. Subscribers can choose from the Essential, Extra and Premium tiers, each with unique perks and benefits. Starting at $11 per month<\/a>, the plans give subscribers access to monthly games and rewards, and each month, all subscribers can access a handful of games at no additional charge. <\/p>\n

Here are all the games<\/a> PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra subscribers can play soon. All games will be available to those PlayStation Plus subscribers on Oct. 20, unless otherwise noted.<\/p>\n

Mafia: The Old Country<\/p>\n

The fourth entry in the Mafia series is a prequel, which means it doesn\u2019t require you to have any knowledge of the previous games. You play a man named Enzo as he becomes embroiled in organized crime in Sicily in the early 1900s. You will find shootouts, horse races and more in this sepia-toned crime game.<\/p>\n

Horizon Forbidden West<\/p>\n

This sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn sees the main character Aloy, head west to find a cure for a mysterious plague that kills everyone it infects. While she travels this new frontier, you\u2019ll reunite with old friends, encounter a war between rival factions and fight even more giant feral machines.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2<\/p>\n

Coming to PlayStation Plus on Oct. 27.<\/p>\n

It wouldn\u2019t be October without at least one horror game. After freeing Poppy in the first entry of this series, you\u2019ll have to dive deeper into the Playtime Co. toy factory to find out what happened there. You\u2019ll need to grapple and swing to safety, as well as solve puzzles to move forward. Just don\u2019t let Mommy catch you.\u00a0<\/p>\n
