A\u00a0“Walking Dead”\u00a0veteran is walking into another graphic novel adaptation:\u00a0Lauren Cohan has joined the cast of Prime Video’s “Stillwater”\u00a0as a series regular, Deadline<\/a> reports.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Stillwater” is a horror thriller that follows ex-con Daniel West (played by Ben Hardy<\/a>) as he travels to the town of Stillwater and “discovers a community where nothing ever ages, no one ever dies, and nobody ever gets out.” Cohan will play\u00a0Cat, described as “a former homecoming queen whose small-town charm has sharpened into something fiercer thanks to decades of old grudges and regrets.”<\/p>\n

Cohan is best known for playing survivor Maggie on “The Walking Dead,”\u00a0a role she currently plays on the AMC spin-off “The Walking Dead: Dead City,”\u00a0which just wrapped up Season 3 last month<\/a>. (AMC has yet to renew “Dead City” for a fourth season.)<\/p>\n

Also joining “Stillwater”\u00a0as series regulars:\u00a0Mark O’Brien (“Halt and Catch Fire”)\u00a0as sheriff’s deputy Ted Keegan, and Mia Tomlinson (“The Conjuring:\u00a0Last Rites”) as Cat’s sister\u00a0Laura.<\/p>\n

Prime Video’s “Fourth Wing”\u00a0adaptation has cast its two leads, per Deadline<\/a>:\u00a0Esther McGregor (“We Were Liars”) will play\u00a0Violet Sorrengail, with Emilio Sakraya (“Warrior Nun”) as\u00a0Xaden Riorson.\u00a0
\nEmmy winner Merritt Wever (“Nurse Jackie”) has joined Cooper Hoffman and Kathryn Newton<\/a> in the cast of Hulu’s “Durango,”\u00a0according to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>. The drama, which just earned a series order at the streamer, has also added Mason Gooding (“Love, Victor”) and\u00a0Abbey Lee (“Black Rabbit”) to its cast.
\nThe Paramount+\u00a0drama “Laird,”\u00a0set in the Scottish Highlands and starring Kenneth Branagh<\/a> and Peter Sarsgaard, has added seven to its cast:\u00a0Jennifer Ehle (“Lioness”), Peter Mullan (“Ozark”), Phia Saban (“House of the Dragon”), Ruaridh Mollica (“VisionQuest”), Holliday Grainger (“The Borgias”), Douglas Hodge (“The Great”), and Corey Mylchreest (“Queen Charlotte”).
\nApple TV’s “Down Cemetery Road,”\u00a0starring Emma Thompson and Ruth Wilson, has added 12 to its Season 2 cast, per Deadline<\/a>, including Martin Clunes (“Doc\u00a0Martin”), Fionn Whitehead (“Great Expectations”), and Amanda Abbington (“Sherlock”).<\/p>\n
