This year, Matchbox Twenty<\/a> are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their blockbuster debut,\u00a0Yourself or Someone Like You<\/a>. To mark the occasion, Rob Thomas and company stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to play \u201c3AM,\u201d one of the album\u2019s biggest hits.<\/p>\n

With a gigantic \u201c30\u201d displayed on an otherwise blank screen behind them, the band of primarily 50-somethings delivered a tight performance, with Thomas\u2019 vocals sounding not too different from their mid-\u201990s heyday. Watch a replay below.<\/p>\n

Released in October 1996,\u00a0Yourself or Someone Like You remains one of the best-selling rock albums of all time. It has been certified 12\u00d7 Platinum in the US, has sold more than 15 million copies worldwide, and produced other major hits including \u201cPush\u201d and \u201cReal World.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, Matchbox Twenty announced a 2027 spring and summer 30th anniversary\u00a0North American tour<\/a>,\u00a0with rotating support from acts including The All-American Rejects, The Wallflowers, and O.A.R. Tickets will be available through an artist pre-sale<\/a> beginning Tuesday, October 20th at 5:00 p.m. local time, with a free Live Nation All Access<\/a> pre-sale following on Thursday, October 22nd at 10:00 a.m. local time.
