It\u2019s always fun to see the hottest new watches out in the wild. This week, we clocked three celebrities in the latest pieces from Cartier, Chopard, and Tudor, respectively.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Actor Noah Wyle, who Time named one of the 100 most influential people of 2026, showed off one of the coolest Cartiers of the year: a limited-edition Santos-Dumont with a yellow-gold case, obsidian dial, and Milanese-style bracelet. Soccer legend David Beckham, a Tudor ambassador for nearly a decade, flexed the updated Northflag that the Swiss watchmaker dropped in September. Last but not least, actor Tom Rhys Harries strapped on the Chopard Happy Sport The First that debuted at the start of the month. It is based on the original \u201990s Happy Sport, showcasing the same \u201cdancing\u201d diamonds that playfully move around the dial.\u00a0<\/p>\n
We also spotted four other celebs in timepieces that are slightly less new but still notable.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\tAndrew Garfield: Cartier Tank Am\u00e9ricaine<\/p>\n

Andrew Garfield looked real good at the Artificial screening during the BFI London Film Festival, pairing a custom olive Brioni look with a contrasting burgundy Cartier Tank Am\u00e9ricaine<\/a> (Ref. WGTA0296). Released in 2023, this modern riff on the original 1980s Am\u00e9ricaine features a large platinum case, a grained dial with an eggshell finish, sword-shaped silvered steel hands, a burgundy alligator strap, and a matching ruby-set crown. You can pick one up for $28,300.\u00a0<\/p>\n \tCurtis \u201950 Cent\u2019 Jackson: Hublot Big Bang Original Unico Black Magic<\/p>\n \t\t Go, Black Magic, it\u2019s (just past) your birthday; 50 Cent is going to dress his wrist like it\u2019s your birthday. Curtis Jackson, a.k.a. 50 Cent, showed off a punchy Hublot Big Bang<\/a> at the premiere of Street Fighter in L.A. on Monday. Released in 2025 as part of a 20th anniversary collection celebrating the original Black Magic model, the modern successor features a slightly smaller black ceramic case, two counters rather than three on the two-tone chequered dial, and an updated movement (the in-house HUB1280 Unico automatic flyback chronograph with 72-hour power reserve). It costs $22,800.<\/p>\n \tDavid Beckham: Tudor Northflag<\/p>\n \t\t David Beckham wore a swish new Tudor<\/a> to watch the Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets during the NBA China Games. Unveiled only in September, the Northflag is based on the original North Flag the Swiss watchmaker released in 2015, then discontinued in 2021. Both iterations are named in honour of the British North Greenland Expedition of 1952, for which Tudor issued the crew with rugged tool watches. They share the same sturdy 40 mm steel case and highly legible black dial with large numerals at 12 and 6 o\u2019clock and a date window at 3. The major difference is the old North Flag had a power reserve indicator, whereas the new one ditches that in favor of a GMT complication. The successor also has Master Chronometer certification. It retails for $5,525.<\/p>\n \tJohn Legend: Audemars Piguet Royal Oak<\/p>\n \t\t John Legend flexed Audemars Piguet\u2019s most legendary model on The Jennifer Hudson Show this week. Released in 2016 but since discontinued, this modern riff on the iconic 1970s Royal Oak showcases a large 41 mm yellow-gold case and a silver-white grande tapisserie dial. Powered by an automatic movement (Calibre 2385), the watch features a 30-minute counter at the 3 o\u2019clock position, a 12-hour subdial at 9 o\u2019clock, a small seconds indicator at 6 o\u2019clock, and an angled date display at 4 o\u2019clock. It trades for $60,000 and up on the secondary market<\/a>.<\/p>\n \tJosh Brolin: Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Chronographe Flyback<\/p>\n \t\t Josh Brolin couldn\u2019t have worn a more fitting watch to the premiere of Whalefall, a new survival thriller film about a young scuba diver. Released in late 2024, the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Chronographe Flyback<\/a> is an elegant dive watch, water-resistant to 30 bar. It features a 43.6 mm black ceramic case, a matching black unidirectional bezel, a contrasting blue sunburst dial, and a blue sail-canvas strap, resulting in a dark, moody aesthetic reminiscent of the deep sea. Inside, the Caliber F385 features a flyback chronograph, date, and small seconds. It retails for $22,400.<\/p>\n \tNoah Wyle: Cartier Santos-Dumont<\/p>\n \t\t Noah Wyle casually showed off one of the hottest new Cartiers at the Cedars-Sinai Board of Governors Sunset Soir\u00e9e. Released at Watches and Wonders<\/a> earlier this year, the limited-edition Santos-Dumont<\/a> pairs a 31.4 mm yellow-gold case and fresh mesh-like bracelet with a gilded obsidian dial, reflecting what Cartier describes as \u201cthe dandy style\u201d of Alberto Santos-Dumont, the Brazilian pilot for whom the house made the first Santos in 1904. Expect to pay $52,000\u2014if you can get your hands on one. Though not an official Cartier ambassador, Wyle has previously been spotted wearing a Tank \u00e0 Guichets<\/a>, a Tank Am\u00e9ricaine<\/a>, and a Roadster.<\/a><\/p>\n \tTom Rhys Harries: Chopard Happy Sport The First<\/p>\n \t\t Tom Rhys Harries sparkled at the Clayface premiere in L.A. on Tuesday, wearing the newly released Chopard Happy Sport The First<\/a>. Unveiled only in early October, the watch is based on the original Happy Sport, created by Caroline Scheufele in 1993, which first combined stainless steel with free-moving \u201cdancing\u201d diamonds, according to Chopard. The modern successor features a 26 mm case in Lucent Steel and a silver-toned grained dial, with five diamonds (totaling .15 carats) playfully spinning between the two sapphire crystals.
